As it has now become a thing, I’m proud to present you my year 2019 in books.
The year 2019 has brought me the end of the worst reading slump of my life that lasted for 18 months. One year ago, I was 16 reviews late, and now the only books left to review are those I’ve read in the last couple of months (aka 6 books). In 2019, I went on a bookish trip to the US to go to BookExpo and BookCon for the first time ever, I met so many great people, awesome authors and inspirational booktubers. It was one of the best experiments I ever had, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to live that. I’ve got a grip on my bookish blog and I’m now posting at least twice a week if you want to check it out. This year’s statistics are making me so happy as you can see:
– 49 books read (↗ +9)
– 18,602 pages read (↗ +3,443)
– Average rating: 3.7 (=)

Okay so I really want to read The Bone Houses based on these quotes now, haha. What did you think of the book overall? 🙂
I love your upcoming reads for this year! I can’t wait to hear what you think of Fangirl and I’ll Give You The Sun, these are two of my favorites 🙂
Happy reading!! 🙂

Overall The Bone Houses was really good! It was unexpected since I picked it up at bookexpo without having heard about it before. But I often like Fantasy standalone so I was destined to enjoy it ^^
I’ll try to prioritise Fangirl and I’ll give you the sun then because I know we often agree on books 🙂

Glad your reading slump is at an end! And awesome to see your stats! 😀 So glad red white and royal blue, serpent and the dove and bone houses were so good, cos I definitely want to read them. Pity about warcross and house of salt and sorrow- I wanted to check them out. I completely hear you on heartless.
