Hello Friends,
I’ve been tagged for this by Lili (like forever ago, I’m sorry I’m two weeks late, I had to help my parents move houses and I was super busy), go check out her blog, she always has the nicest articles! I couldn’t find the original creator of this tag so if you know him/her please can you give me a link so that I could appropriately reward the rightful person. To be honest, I’m not often tagged by fellow bloggers and most of my articles are my own decisions, so thanks to Lili I am now officially allowed to do this tag. That being said, this was, once again, a slow reading year for me. I’m not even sure I’ll be able to answer all those questions as so far I’ve read 14 books this year.
I usually read 40-60 books a year and since I’m in a slump I’ve tried to lower my challenge to 30 books for 2019, and still I’m late haha. But I’m now officially on holiday for two months and – I hope – I’ll be able to catch up and surpass this challenge. Without further due, here we go:
1. Best Book You’ve Read So Far in 2019?
2. Best Sequel You’ve Read So Far in 2019?
3. New Release You Haven’t Read Yet, But Want To?
I keep seeing this book EVERYWHERE. I just really want to read this ASAP.
4. Most Anticipated Release For Second Half of 2019?
Just because if I had to pick only one, it would be Leigh. Always.
5. Biggest Disappointment?
6. Biggest Surprise?
7. Favourite New Author?
I ate 3 of her books in the first half of 2019 and all of them were 5 stars for me. Keep it coming ❤
8. Newest Fictional Crush & 9. Newest Favourite Character?
I joined those two categories because I often crush on my favourite characters and it didn’t make any sense to difference both for me. And here it’s not really a ‘new’ crush, but the confirmation of characters I adore Elide, Lorcan and Irene.
10. Book That Made You Cry?
11. Book That Made You Happy?
Only 20 pages and this made the corner of my lips touch my ears from cover to cover.
12. Favourite Book To Movie Adaptation You Saw This Year?
Those are the only two movies I’ve seen that I know are adapted from movies. However, I haven’t read neither and the movies weren’t that good.
13. Favourite Review You’ve Written This Year?
Because there is a picture of my signed book in it and that’s enough!
14. Most Beautiful Book You Bought So Far This Year?
I even bought this TWICE this year, because I had to re-buy it at BookCon. But look at that golden cover! Worth it, isn’t it?
15. What Books Do You Need To Read By The End of The Year?
All my BookExpo/BookCon books before their release dates?? Haha, if I had to narrow it down to only three, it would be the Renegades series by Marissa Meyer, so that I would be ready for the third and final book, finish the Caraval series (book 2 and 3 still waiting on my shelves) and all Brigid Kemmerer books.
I won’t tag anyone, but if you’re interested in this late tag, consider you tagged here and now, and please, send me the link in the comment section.
